1% of the Firefox users will be monitored

The research arm of Mozila (Mozila Lab) would like to monitor around 1% of Firefox users usage of the Firefox browser. This move would allow the company to actually know what are the people using in the browser.

The involvement in the program would be completely optional and would ensure the privacy of the involved users. The program is supposed to develop new Firefox features that would ease the user-experience during the web browsing.
