Firefox 3.0 uses memory more efficiently than the other browsers

A dot net developer whose name is Sam Allen has recently wrote a dot net windows forms application which tries which browser ha a better memory management than the other. The browsers which took part in this experminet were : Firefox 3.0, Safari 3.1, Flock 1.2, Opera 8.1 and Internet Explorer 8.0 Beta. The process involved around 14 hours of actual browsing for all the browser, around 3 hours for each browser.

The test main goal was to act as a memory watcher which watches the system memory every three seconds ending with million of data points after all. The results were simply amazing for Firefox, which had the best memory usage after all. Opera, Flock and Internet explorer performed almost the same while Safari hada huge gap between the others and was simply the worst.
