Mozila Firefox 3.5 will no longer support old Windows Versions
The online discussions between Mozilla’s developers and engineering executives has showed that Mozilla will no longer support the older versions of Firefox on Windows 2000 and Windows XP SP2.
Michael Conner, one of the company’s software engineers has said “Raise the minimum requirements on Gecko 1.9.2 (and any versions of Firefox built on 1.9.2) for Windows builds to require Windows XP Service Pack 3 or higher” on a discussion. According to Michael, Microsoft itself will end its support for Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP SP2 on July, 13 2010.
